Hi, Just opened my ebay store. I am an 18 year veteran html hand coder and hate these ebay 8 year old “building block” templates.

If you would be kind enough to take a look at my Rancho San Diego Pool Service
home page rsdpool.com I want to make my ebay store look like this. Smooth, cool and soft

Hey thanks for your easy to understand code, it really helped me a lot. Though after doing a little bit more research, I would change onclick to onmousedown, just for browser accessibility issues.

I blame Ebay’s messy method of only allowing you to edit drips and drabs of html code for certain elements and not allowing you to change a css master file. They should issue a developers guide that has all the id elements in it. I have had to use firefox’s firebug to find out what the id of every little element is and change it accordingly. It is almost like they have designed the whole custom css sections for complete beginners, who wouldnt know css anyway. I hate having to switch this off, swithc that off, and create a promotion box and use that as a static menu, etc. Its very shoddy.

Hi,
I’m a newbie in CSS.
I want to make a banner with an image on the left and h1 text for the title. Your code works fine,
but how do I center the text to the image? Below is the code I used:
