As the Internet began transforming the way information was published and shared, I expanded my skills into web development. In 1995, I began writing HTML and designing websites, combining my background in typography, layout, and print production with the possibilities of the web.

Today, I hand-code clean, semantic HTML and CSS using current web standards to create websites that are responsive, accessible, fast-loading, and built with search engine optimization in mind. My design process often begins in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, where I develop custom layouts and graphics before bringing those designs to life with hand-coded HTML and CSS using Adobe Dreamweaver and Notepad.

My background in both traditional print and digital design gives me an appreciation for the fundamentals of good design - typography, color, layout, readability, and attention to detail—while allowing me to apply those principles to today's websites and digital media.

When I'm not working on client projects, I'm usually at my computer exploring new technologies, expanding my knowledge, refining my skills, and keeping up with the continually evolving world of web design and development.
